Refund Policies & Cancellation Fees
Because of the late date for the submission of applications and because of the expenses due to program development, promotion and planning both in North America and at institutions abroad, there will be a $100 cancellation fee for a student withdrawing from the program after his/her application and deposit has been sent to the ACA office in Silver Spring. Students who withdraw from the program after May 15 when funds are transferred abroad will forfeit an additional $100 and may be responsible for an additional fee for tour reservations. Students withdrawing from the program after the time of registration at their international campus will not only forfeit their $200 cancellation fees, but also a proration of the total charge based on the length of stay in the program as reported by the international school. However, no refund will be given if students have completed three weeks or one half of the program. It is very important that students inform the ACA office in Silver Spring, Maryland immediately upon any change of plans.
