Married students and sponsors and their families are welcome to attend if all family members are eligible for, and do enroll in, one of the language study programs. Living facilities are in student residence halls. Restroom/shower facilities vary on each campus. In some cases private facilities will be in each room. In other cases separate facilities for men and women will be available in the residence hall. All students will be expected to take their meals in campus dining facilities. Children in families must be 15 years of age or older to participate in classes.
Married students must pay the standard tuition and fees and discuss directly with the international school any other financial arrangements for alternate housing or boarding. ACA does not have information about these extra charges.
Free room, board, tuition and daily outings for the Summer Language Program are available to North American Seventh-day Adventist academy teachers (regardless of the subject they teach), staff or designated responsible parents, who bring eight or more academy students with them to attend the program at five of the nine program locations. At Sagunto, Montemorelos and São Paulo, sponsors bringing ten students will also be able to participate at no extra charge in the tours. At these locations, sponsors bringing only eight students may pay a fee not to exceed $350 to participate also in the study tours. Sponsors are expected to participate in classes and to participate with and supervise their group of students in all program activities. Sponsors must be cleared through the ACA office in Silver Spring, Maryland prior to enrollment in the program and must fill out an ACA application form in order to be enrolled in the insurance coverage. Application forms are available on this page. Back to Summer Programs |
