Travel Information
(PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE THE AIRLINE TICKET WITHOUT CONTACTING THE ACA OFFICE IN MARYLAND, 301-680-6444, EMAIL: aca@nad.adventist.org )
Airport: Students will arrive at Narita International Airport in Tokyo. This is an older aiport which is located closer to the College and farther away from the Fukushima Electric Plant. Students not arriving at Narita airport will not be picked up by the college.
The students from La Sierra University will be traveling from Los Angeles International Airport to Narita International Airport in Tokyo and each student is responsible for their airfare, which will cost about $1,300 round trip. The transportation charge to/from to the Airport is calculated based on the scheduled arrival (June 19) and departure (August 7) dates. The students who have different arrival or departure dates may incur additional charges, because of the extra cost of transportation arrangements. In order to make it easy, the program coordinator will assist the students to purchase their tickets, so that the entire group will travel together and arrive at the Narita International Airport at the same time.
Students who will be traveling from other places in the US, please contact and inform the Coordinator, Dr. Yoshi Mineyama, of your arrival information and he will arrange to pick you up from the Narita International Airport in Tokyo.
